„Here & there” - migration on the “Red Couch”
The project „Here & there” that NOAH! developed together with the fine art photographer Horst Wackerbarth (The Universal Couch) and the City of Duisburg was one of the first big urban projects for “Ruhr.2010” that was presented in public in January 2009. With this project the City of Duisburg - as the port of the “Cultural Capital of Europe” - will pick migration out as a central theme together with its seven twin cities, e.g. Wuhan in China or Perm in Russia.
